FAQ's

Q: How do I arrange care for myself or family member?

A: Contact Peak Homecare either by telephone on 01246 554321 or email enquiries@peakhomecare.com and we will arrange for a member of the team to visit you for a chat about how we can help.  We are happy to come out to your home to discuss options, then once decided you can leave everything else to us.

Q: What duties will my carers provide?

A: Once Individual holistic Support plans and assessments are agreed, this becomes an agreed way of support, determining the way staff will support you and your family on each visit.

Q:  What if I need help with my medication?

A: As part of the Peak Pharmacy family, we have a very close relationship with many of our Pharmacies.  We are happy to assist or administer your medication. All our Staff have to carry out specific training to administer medication in line with CQC requirements.

Q: Are there any duties my carer is unable to carry out:

A: As tasks are agreed within the Support Plans, this is the agreement in which you would like to be supported on each visit.  Support plans do change according to the needs of the client and we check regularly to ensure that the care we give is appropriate for each individual.  We are not however, able to give injections, or change sterile dressings.  We cannot carry out any duties which may cause risk to either the client we are caring for, or the Peak Homecare employee.  Contact the Peak Homecare team to discuss any changes to the plan.
